Maintain fixed asset subledger to ledger including construction in progress, capitalize projects/expenses per GAAP and company policy, monthly reporting and support audit.
Maintain and review standard costs, monthly basis reconcile subledger to ledger, calculate excess & obsolete/aging reserves and physical inventory.
Manage count accuracy metrics and tolerance thresholds using ABC methodology. Perform monthly audits of counts and report out on results to Management.
Analyze shipping and logistics costs, identifying areas for optimization and cost reduction.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing journal entries and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; Associate degree with relevant manufacturing cost accounting experience will be considered.
3–5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
Experience working in a high-growth or operationally complex environment, with the ability to translate financial and operational data into clear insights, communicate key findings, and recommend actionable recommendations to cross-functional team.
Strong analytical and system skills (Google Sheets, Quickbooks, Netsuite, Integrated ERP Systems).
Authorization to work in the USA.
