About the role
- Creo CAD model and drafting creation and management to Agility standards
- Sourcing OTS component models and integrating them in the assembly
- Updating CAD based on engineering analysis inputs
- Detail drafting of parts and assemblies
- CAD Library management
- CAD template management
- CAD data management in Windchill
- BOM creation and management
- Submission and herding of Promotion Requests
- Identification of OTS components that meet engineering specifications
- Product design in support of engineering requirements
- Support cross-functional design reviews through production of quality CAD screenshots, renderings, and creation of presentation slides
Requirements
- Expert in Creo, including top down modeling, drafting, and library management
- Expert in Windchill, promotion requests, file management, BOM management
- Fluent in the application of GD&T to mechanical parts and assemblies
- Expert knowledge in several of the following manufacturing processes: sheet metal, machining, casting, injection molding
- Bonus: Altuim CoDesigner experience
- 5+ years of mechanical designer experience
- Ability to be on-site at Agility’s design facility as needed (minimum 4 days per month and as needed to support design activities, reviews, prototype testing, etc.)
