About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room prior to procedures
Be present in the operating room during procedures, with involvement subject to physician demands
Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical equipment after procedures
Communicate equipment defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner
Transport equipment to ensure it is in the right place at the right time for procedures
Maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff, and other personnel
Ensure equipment is working and ready for use before, during, and after each surgery

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license required
Safe driving record based on Agiliti policies
Ability to lift up to eighty pounds
Ability to push or pull up to one hundred pounds
Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
Ability to bend and reach repeatedly
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time
