About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff, and other personnel
Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room before procedures
Be present in the operating room during procedures, with involvement subject to physician demands
Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical equipment after procedures
Communicate equipment defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner
Transport equipment so it is in the right place at the right time for procedures
Ensure equipment is working and ready for use before, during, and after each surgery

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license
Safe driving record based on Agiliti policies
Ability to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds
Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
Ability to bend and reach repeatedly
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time
May be required to obtain certain vaccinations or provide proof of current vaccination status
