About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for supporting security and detection customers through on-site activities such as installation, maintenance, and repair of systems.
Diagnose and resolve product performance problems
Ensure customer satisfaction by advising on preventive maintenance
Proactively respond to equipment or software issues
Deliver integrated solutions, including peripherals and applications software
Serve as an internal resource on technical issues and manage product escalations
Collaborate with Agilent teams to provide solutions to customers
May deliver internal technical training and maintenance seminars or workshops

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in physical science or engineering or similar/ equivalent experience
4+ years experience in a similar role, as a service technician, process engineer or in a customer-facing field position
Must be able to obtain and hold security clearance to gain access to customer sites
Must have a valid passport to gain access to government sites
Valid US driver’s license
Must be able to travel up to 75% overnight
Spectroscopy experience highly desirable
