About the role

  • Provides technical & application services & support to Agilent customers, focusing on timely and cost-effective problem resolution
  • Provide remote post-sales hardware, software technical support and Application support services to external customers and/or internal field personnel utilizing remote diagnostic capabilities
  • Provide technical & application support for Agilent analytical instruments to existing & new customers in markets of Biopharma/Proteomics/Pharma/Food in Manesar location
  • Leverage post sales interactions with customers to probe and qualify further revenue opportunities and provide highly qualified leads to sales
  • Perform required admin tasks to ensure flawless customer service for contract and trade customers
  • Cost & time effective application method deployment on Agilent instruments
  • Promptly troubleshoot method/technology transfers issues from one instrument to another
  • Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions & customers
  • Deliver product seminars for customers, prospects, and employees
  • Training of internal & external team and provide technical support
  • Respond promptly to related customer queries & help in prompt resolution of customer escalations
  • Co-ordinate internally with all the field sales team and Managers to ensure that the key customers are delighted
  • Must be willing to travel to customer locations as a part of learning and development

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Instrumentation/Pharmacy/Biotechnology/Life Science or equivalent
  • 18-24 months experience
  • Relevant basic/theoretical knowledge of analytical instruments like LC/LCMS/QTOF, GC/GCMS, etc.
  • Preferably LCMS, LCQTOF for Biopharma
  • Preferably GCMS for Food & Pharma
  • Candidate should enjoy talking and communicating with customers with the help of remote tools and provide resolution to the raised queries
  • Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational & negotiation skills
  • Computer and IT Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, SAP-CRM
  • Must be willing to travel to customer locations as a part of learning and development.
