Inside Account Manager – Central Canada
Agilent Technologies. Responsible for selling laboratory service products to customers .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for selling laboratory service products to customers
- Collaborate with Field Account Managers and Product Specialists
- Work with the Service Delivery team, Operations, Instrument Sales, and Consumables Sales teams
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Travel to customer sites as needed to close opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors, Masters, or equivalent in science highly preferred
- 2+ years experience as a sales or service of analytical or life science instrumentation
- Ability to translate the value proposition of service as a financial and operational benefit to meet customer needs
- Strong business development, sales negotiating, and sales closing skills
- Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) and partnership skills
- General knowledge of instrument support services business
- Able to interface comfortably at all levels within the customer management structure
