Field Service Engineer – LCMS

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support our customers with on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of Agilent Chromatography systems
- Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
- Performs maintenance and repairs
- Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance
- Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business
- Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software
- Train other field engineers and customers on the solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's, Master's, or other university-level degrees in related science fields -- e.g., chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar are highly preferred
- 1-2+ years of experience working with analytical instrumentation, ideally including repair, maintenance, and/or troubleshooting
- Experience or expertise with Chromatography ( LC ) and Mass Spec (LCMS)
- Ability to solve high-impact problems related to product availability; typically, system/ solution-focused
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer relationship-building skills are essential
