About the role

  • Accelerate the sales growth of Agilent's Global Strategic Customer Program
  • Establish Agilent as the preferred laboratory partner
  • Build close relationships with external thought-leaders and executives
  • Develop and execute an overall "One Agilent" strategy
  • Partner with local sales teams to improve organizational competency and effectiveness
  • Initiates innovative business development strategies
  • Collaborate across the business to translate customer requirements
  • Manage complex global negotiations to yield the best value for customers

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 8+ years in a sales based role with growing levels of responsibility
  • Experience in service delivery, informatics, laboratory productivity services, consumables, compliance / regulatory consulting, biopharma, financial modeling
  • Sales Management experience highly preferred
  • Global background preferred; understands and appreciates cultural differences and global organization complexity
  • Proven track record of applying a customer-focused, consultative sales approach
  • Global account management/enterprise sales skills
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel, greater than 30% of the time, both domestically and internationally
  • Project management experience
  • In-depth skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience and internal recognition in specialty
