About the role
- Install and optimize instruments and hardware configurations at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve product performance issues.
- Perform maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by informing customers about preventive maintenance procedures and configurations that may affect product performance.
- Proactively address potential equipment issues to prevent unexpected disruptions to customer operations.
- Implement and validate customer analytical methods.
- Train other field engineers and customers/users on solutions (classroom or on-site).
Requirements
- University degree in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physical Measurements, etc.) or a related field.
- Practical experience with analytical techniques/methods in atomic spectroscopy (ICP-MS, ICP-OES, etc.).
- Experience in a similar role in technical support OR as a user of these products.
- Good written and spoken English.
