About the role

  • Provide hands-on technical and application support to customers and colleagues
  • Work on-site at a variety of labs and support customers with product solutions across GC/LC/GCMS/ LCMS
  • Install and optimize hardware/software/network products
  • Perform maintenance and repairs, diagnose and resolve product performance issues
  • Address applications related issues and provide end-to-end solutions at customer sites
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by guiding and training users on preventive maintenance and configurations
  • Demonstrate and train customers on high-end features of Agilent's software platforms
  • Work with the sales team to deliver bespoke one-to-one consulting related to customer application needs
  • Develop innovative application solutions across various market segments like Environmental, Food, Energy & Chemicals and Pharmaceutical

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in chemistry, Food, Environment, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar background in life sciences
  • Expertise in analytical techniques and method development (GC/ HPLC/UHPLC/ MS) in a similar position or as an End-user
  • Problem-solving skills, particularly for fixing, applications support and/or general instrument maintenance
  • Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not essential
  • Strong desire to learn and expand your skill set
  • Enjoy working remotely, whilst engaging and visiting customers on-site
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and processes, ensuring compliance with Agilent's Quality standards
  • Ability to handle customer expectations and balance customer requirements with business needs.
