About the role
- Perform pre-award and post-award activities such as analyzing requirements and conducting market research
- Recommend revisions to statements of work/specifications
- Determine the appropriate type of contract and establish milestones
- Conduct procurement planning/competition, developing solicitations, evaluating quotes/proposals, and negotiating terms and conditions
- Operate independently and take ownership of assigned work while collaborating closely with a team
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Business Administration or equivalent with at least 3 years of job-related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
- Experience negotiating Terms and Conditions (e.g., negotiating Subcontracts, NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Consulting Agreements, etc.)
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Results-oriented with the ability to produce high quality and accurate work products
- Familiarity with DCMA Contractor Purchase System Reviews (CPSR) highly preferred
