About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead requirement discovery: facilitate workshops, align stakeholders, and drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces.
Define and document functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, and process changes.
Produce high-quality artifacts: process maps, specifications, use cases, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
Partner with Engineering to design solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and manage dependencies across systems.
Drive end-to-end UAT strategy (scenarios, test data, execution support, defect triage) and ensure business readiness.
Support change management: documentation, training support, release notes, stakeholder comms.
Improve BA practices: define templates/standards, coach junior analysts, and elevate ways of working.
Use data to validate outcomes and propose improvements (KPIs, funnel analysis, operational metrics).

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst / Senior BA / Functional Analyst in technology-driven environments.
Proven ability to operate across multiple stakeholders and systems, delivering complex initiatives end-to-end.
Strong process and systems thinking; ability to connect business goals to technical implementation.
Advanced communication and facilitation skills; confident in influencing decisions without formal authority.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery and how to support teams from discovery through release.
Nice to Have: Experience with integration-heavy environments (APIs, event-driven systems, microservices).
Knowledge of BPMN/UML, and experience creating data flow / sequence diagrams.
Certifications (e.g., IIBA ECBA/CCBA/CBAP, Agile BA, PSPO/CSPO) are a plus but not required.
