About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As the Sales Manager for the AE Mid-Market team, you ensure the team’s sustainable achievement of ARR targets through daily business involvement and continuous development of each AE’s talent.
- You manage a team of around 6 Account Executives covering the French mid-market segment. Your management style follows a deliberate progression: do together, then delegate. You start by closing deals yourself, then co-pilot complex deals alongside your AEs, coaching them to better defend pricing, accelerate sales cycles, and confidently manage multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- Directly involved in deals to maximize close rate, ACV (average booking price) and deal velocity.
- Co-pilot complex negotiations alongside your AEs on strategic accounts.
- Identify recurring patterns in lost deals and turn them into coaching opportunities for the whole team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7 to 10 years of total experience, including significant experience as an AE in B2B SaaS — mid-market segment
- 2 to 4 years managing a team of AEs
- A proven track record of closing consistently above targets
- Fluent in French; English is a plus
