About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead month-end close activities for multiple subsidiaries and business units, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records within NetSuite and other accounting systems
Collaborate with business unit accounting teams to improve close processes, standardization, and internal controls
Assist with intercompany accounting and consolidation-related activities
Support acquisition integration activities and other special projects as needed
Assist with the annual financial statement audit and support audit and tax-related requests
Analyze financial results and investigate fluctuations to support management reporting and operational decision-making
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy
Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or a corporate accounting environment
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
Experience working in a multi-entity or high-growth environment
Insurance industry experience preferred
