About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive QHSE excellence across the business
Supporting the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of QHSE management systems in line with ISO standards
Proactively manage risk, developing and embedding robust policies
Be a visible QHSE leader on site, delivering audits, inspections and assurance activities
Coaching operational teams to build a positive, proactive and values-driven safety culture
Lead with insight and accountability, analysing QHSE performance data
Investigating incidents and leading root cause analysis to implement effective corrective and preventative actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Professionally qualified QHSE specialist, holding a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
Lead ISO Auditor status is desirable
Comprehensive technical knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation
ISO-aligned QHSE management systems and industry best practice
Hands-on experience implementing safe systems of work including RAMS and Permit to Work
Proven experience in fast-paced, operational environments, such as energy, utilities, construction or industrial services
Ability to balance compliance requirements with commercial and operational demands
Full UK driving licence essential
