Sales Specialist – Business Development, Mining – Power Generation
AggrekoSales Specialist supporting mining industry from Kalgoorlie or Perth, focusing on power generation and client relationships. Frequent travel across the Goldfields region for client visits and technical assistance.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Spend approx every 2nd week travelling throughout the Goldfields region visiting clients and building key relationships
- Build personal knowledge of Aggreko's new products
- Develop new customers within mining and heavy industry, promoting power generation and temperature control solutions
- Elevate the business’s customer experience by delivering expert assistance in addressing technical inquiries
- Support clients across the entire scope of sales - business development and product introduction
- Cover project design, project/site delivery
- Formulate a technical application sales plan for allocated region
- Advise clients of the breadth of range and hybrid and low emissions solutions
- Accelerate new products utilisation, responsible for allocated budget and growth goals
- Liaise with Aggreko technicians and management to provide technical solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven in industrial sales role, or in an industrial trades position
- Technically proficient with industrial products related to mining equipment or power generation
- Familiarity with greener energy solutions would be highly regarded
- Strongly analytical, possessing problem-solving capabilities
- Keen to grow your professional capabilities with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment
- Dedicated to safety, quality, and customer experience
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
- Understanding factors critical for successful new product introduction and integration
- Able to apply basic project management skills
- Strongly focused on your customer account management skills
