About the role
- Support end‑to‑end commercial contracting: drafting and negotiating MSAs, supply agreements, O&M contracts, PPAs/ESAs, frameworks, and subcontracting arrangements.
- Assist with structuring hybrid & microgrid projects (solar + BESS + thermal): help define commercial terms and coordinate with engineering, commercial and delivery teams.
- Provide guidance on public procurement, tenders and regulatory matters across Middle Eastern jurisdictions.
- Support compliance activities (ABC, AML, sanctions, export controls, competition).
- Support with early‑stage dispute handling: coordinate fact gathering, assess risk, engage external counsel, and assist with mediation, settlement, arbitration or litigation processes.
Requirements
- A qualified lawyer with 4–6 years’ post‑qualified experience in commercial, construction or project contracting.
- Experienced in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, industrial services or equipment rental.
- Familiar with EPC/O&M structures, performance regimes and common security instruments.
- Comfortable managing cross‑border matters and working with external counsel.
- Knowledgeable in key compliance areas including anti‑bribery, AML and sanctions.
