About the role

  • Product expertise: Provide product configuration and functionality consultancy to internal and external sales force
  • Understand customer requirements and workflows to ensure the system configuration is according customers’ expectation
  • Training and Presentation: Give presentations at internal and external events, conferences, trade-shows promoting DR portfolio
  • Train Sales Force internal and external on new product features
  • Fast and active learning at internal training to keep knowledge up to date
  • Product positioning: Localize global value proposition to fit Europe South East market requirements
  • Manage product mix and prices to deliver the best value for Agfa
  • Collaboration: Work in a group of Cluster Product Specialists to realize Europe-Pacific region objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationship with key users, customers to produce local testimonials
  • Manage the communication between Agfa HQ and customers engaged in product validation and clinical trials
  • Identify new opportunities and pass leads to the sales and business development team
  • Responsibility in contact with customers and patients
  • Radiography market assessment and intelligence to secure Agfa proposition competitiveness
  • Monitoring competition in the cluster and propose competitive actions to increase win rate

Requirements

  • Education: Medical Degree, Radiographer, Medical Physicist, Biomedical Engineer, or Marketing background
  • Extensive knowledge of direct radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, and other medical imaging modalities
  • Experience in a marketing or commercial role within a local or international business organization
  • Experience working in a radiology department (advantage)
  • Training capabilities and willingness to support educational activities
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Strong business orientation and focus on achieving targets
  • Natural networking abilities and strong social skills
  • Excellent communication and solid presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Very good command of English; additional languages such as Polish, Greek, or Italian are an advantage
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and structured working style
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel up to 50% (Agfa)
