About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, initiate, lead, and close contracts for new projects with both new and existing clients.
  • Promote company visibility, growth, and profitability.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to substantially increase revenue and market share in the region.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve annual sales targets through new deal acquisition.
  • Establish contact and develop proposals with prospective and existing clients that meet target profiles.
  • Communicate company capabilities effectively and facilitate site visits.
  • Coordinate follow-up communication and lead closing process for new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of an effective regional marketing plan.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–8+ years of proven success in Business Development or Sales, preferably within the CMO/CDMO industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related technical area is preferred
  • Highly effective written, verbal, and presentation-driven communication skills
  • Ability to adjust communication style easily to suit different audiences and contexts
  • Established network of industry contacts within the biopharmaceutical sector is preferred
  • Willingness to travel globally to AGC Biologics sites and client locations, approximately 50% of the time.
