About the role
- Organizational, administrative and strategic management of the truck fleet (LKW)
- Vehicle procurement, leasing, contract management and insurance
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the fleet team
- Planning of assignments and vacation schedules as well as training for new drivers
- Monitoring costs, utilization and overall cost-effectiveness
- Developing a future-oriented fleet strategy and digitalizing core processes
- Management and development of telematics, GPS and fleet management systems
- Route planning in coordination with drivers, warehouse and procurement
- Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and preparing reports
Requirements
- Completed degree in logistics, business administration, traffic/transport or transportation management, or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in fleet or transport management
- Solid knowledge of contract management, controlling and operational/resource planning
- Experience with telematics systems and digital tools
- Structured working style and analytical thinking
- Leadership skills and assertiveness with a service-oriented manner
