About the role

  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of the Project Management and Controlling unit within the Technical Department
  • Management, planning and monitoring of technical projects, in particular construction, refurbishment and investment projects
  • Responsibility for large-scale projects across all project phases (planning, implementation, controlling)
  • Establishment and further development of project management standards, methods and tools
  • Responsibility for budget planning, cost control, forecasts and profitability analyses
  • Preparation of reports, KPIs and decision-making documents for the Technical Director and hospital management
  • Close collaboration with internal interfaces (medical departments, nursing, procurement, IT, executive management) and external partners
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, technical and economic requirements
  • Direct reporting line to the Technical Director

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering (e.g. civil, building services, electrical or industrial engineering) or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in hospitals or the healthcare sector
  • Experience in leading and managing large-scale projects is explicitly desired
  • Management experience or strong leadership skills
  • Very good analytical skills and a strong commercial/business mindset
  • Confident use of project management and controlling tools
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness and a cooperative leadership style
