About the role
- Preparation of patients for procedures or diagnostic measures
- Assistance as well as pre- and post-procedure preparation for all diagnostic and interventional measures
- Placement of catheters, including indwelling (Foley) catheters and suprapubic catheter changes
- Sensitive and professional support of patients with urological conditions
Requirements
- Completed training as a nurse or as an operating room/surgical assistant
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn new procedures and techniques
- Professional nursing approach
- Further training or experience in endoscopy desirable
- Enjoyment of responsible and independent work in a multiprofessional team
