About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct fixed compensation analyses to support salary adjustments, salary placements and the company's strategic decisions.
- Perform salary benchmarking through market surveys.
- Support the design, review and maintenance of the salary structure, job evaluation and organizational architecture.
- Work on the modeling and operationalization of variable compensation programs, including PPR (profit-sharing program), commissions and long-term incentive plans.
- Develop analyses that technically support recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, controls and governance requirements, including SOX-related processes.
- Map Compensation team processes, identifying opportunities for simplification before automation.
- Develop solutions to automate operational activities using advanced Excel, Power Query, dashboards and other tools that reduce rework and increase process reliability.
- Support initiatives focused on evolving workflows, contributing to simpler, more efficient and scalable processes.
- Document processes to ensure traceability, standardization and reduced dependence on manual controls.
- Collaborate with different areas of the company, contributing to the continuous improvement of compensation processes and organizational structure.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Human Resources or related fields.
- Solid experience in Compensation or Total Rewards.
- Experience with job evaluation methodologies such as Mercer IPE, Korn Ferry (Hay), WTW or similar.
- Experience with salary surveys and market benchmarking.
- Knowledge of salary structuring, salary placements, compa-ratio, internal equity and market positioning.
- Experience with variable compensation, including PPR, commissions and/or long-term incentive programs.
- Advanced Excel.
- Experience building analyses, KPIs and presentations to support decision-making.
- **PREFERRED**
- Experience with Power Query, Power BI, Python or other automation tools.
- Experience in continuous improvement projects, process transformation or automation using Artificial Intelligence.
