About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prospect and qualify opportunities with medical education, marketing, and medical affairs managers and directors at pharmaceutical companies;
- Build and present customized medical education solution proposals: postgraduate activations, scientific content production, Congress and medical event coverage;
- Lead end-to-end consultative sales cycles, from needs mapping to contract signing and handoff to operations;
- Develop account plans for strategic pharmaceutical accounts, identifying expansion and renewal opportunities;
- Build long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders — Medical Affairs, Marketing, Trade and Medical Education;
- Prepare commercial and strategic analyses aligned with clients' share-of-voice and medical engagement objectives;
- Prepare tailored technical-commercial proposals that demonstrate the value of the Afya ecosystem (medical network/database, platforms, postgraduate reach and congress presence);
- Collaborate with Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure excellent project execution and client satisfaction;
- Monitor commercial performance indicators and pipeline evolution, contributing to continuous improvement of go-to-market strategies;
- Represent Afya at industry events, medical congresses and meetings with the pharmaceutical industry.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related fields;
- Proven experience in B2B consultative sales, preferably with medium- to high-complexity sales cycles;
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry — roles such as Medical Education Manager, Medical Affairs, Product Manager or MSL — with a deep understanding of medical education dynamics and HCP engagement;
- Strong knowledge of the medical education solutions portfolio: congresses, symposia, scientific content, update programs and postgraduate courses;
- Ability to engage with industry stakeholders at manager, director and C-level;
- Consultative, value-driven mindset with the ability to translate medical marketing objectives into measurable educational solutions;
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities and accounts simultaneously;
- Analytical capability to build performance- and results-oriented strategies;
