About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the structuring and evolution of the Product Operations area, designing and improving the product organization’s operating system to increase clarity, speed, decision quality, and the teams’ ability to scale;
- Define, implement and evolve rituals, processes, cadences and artifacts that support the area across discovery, prioritization, planning, delivery, launch and performance tracking;
- Act as a facilitator between Product, Design, Engineering, Data and partner areas, reducing organizational friction, improving alignment quality and increasing execution flow;
- Establish mechanisms that provide reliable visibility into strategy, priorities, roadmap, capacity, risks, dependencies, trade-offs and the progress of key initiatives;
- Support product leadership in translating strategy into a more consistent operation, helping connect business objectives, team priorities and day-to-day execution tracking;
- Ensure the organization has clear and consistent ways to track OKRs, product metrics, health metrics, operational indicators and learnings from launches, experiments and strategic initiatives;
- Structure the capture, organization and dissemination of customer insights, team learnings and performance data so this information becomes useful input for better and faster decisions;
- Improve operational predictability without bureaucratizing teams, bringing more clarity on real capacity, initiative sequencing, critical dependencies and key execution constraints;
- Identify systemic bottlenecks in the organization’s way of working and lead continuous improvements that increase focus, productivity, operational quality and learning velocity;
- Promote product management best practices and support the organization’s maturity development in areas such as operating cadence, governance, accountability, documentation, prioritization and performance monitoring;
- Support portfolio governance and the area’s executive communication, ensuring stakeholders and leadership have a clear view of deliveries, risks, pending decisions and generated results.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in Product Operations, product strategy and operations, or equivalent roles in technology companies;
- Proven ability to build operational mechanisms that increase the effectiveness of the product organization, beyond schedule control, ceremonies and status reports;
- Experience defining and evolving rituals, operating cadence, decision forums, prioritization processes and performance monitoring mechanisms;
- Experience defining, tracking and interpreting OKRs, product metrics, operational indicators and management frameworks, with a strong data and outcomes orientation;
- Close experience working with Product, Engineering, Design and Data teams, with good understanding of the development cycle and the main friction points between strategy and execution;
- Ability to organize complex and ambiguous environments, transforming dispersed context into operational clarity, alignment and action;
- Strong influence, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, including with executive leadership;
- Analytical and systemic mindset, with the ability to identify patterns, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities in the organization’s functioning;
- Experience with product operation and management support tools such as Jira, Productboard, Notion, dashboards and related tools;
- Organized, pragmatic, excellent communication and focused on generating real effectiveness for the organization without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
