About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the company's fixed and variable compensation and benefits strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities;
  • Design and implement job and salary policies, ensuring internal consistency and market competitiveness;
  • Develop variable compensation and incentive models aligned with performance, growth and talent retention;
  • Manage benefits programs, negotiate with vendors, and drive continuous improvement of company practices;
  • Conduct salary analyses, benchmarking and market studies using specialized tools;
  • Support executive leadership in decisions related to organizational structure, workforce movements and personnel budgeting;
  • Work on the integration of salary structures and benefits in M&A contexts and organizational transformations;
  • Balance traditional practices of the educational environment with the agile dynamics of technology and digital business;
  • Monitor strategic KPIs related to personnel costs, salary competitiveness and the effectiveness of compensation programs;
  • Contribute to the digital transformation of the People & Management area, promoting efficiency, governance and intelligent use of data.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Human Resources or related fields;
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in People Management, Finance, Strategy or related areas is a plus;
  • Proven experience in Compensation and Benefits, with strategic responsibility and management of complex structures;
  • Required experience in higher education and/or technology companies, preferably in digital environments, edtechs or SaaS;
  • Strong knowledge of job and salary structures, job evaluation and variable compensation;
  • Experience with corporate benefits, vendor negotiation and budget management;
  • Familiarity with market benchmarking tools such as Mercer, Willis Towers Watson or similar;
  • Experience with stock options, equity and modern incentive models is a plus;
  • Knowledge of labor legislation, personnel budgeting and financial indicators;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau;
  • Experience working in agile environments, squads, OKRs and HR digital transformation;
  • Advanced English, particularly for global benchmarking and working with international materials;
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic mindset and ability to influence senior leadership;
  • Pragmatic, results-oriented profile with a focus on cost efficiency;
  • Differential: experience in post-M&A integrations and structuring hybrid models between education and technology.
