About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the procurement portfolio, ensuring agreed deadlines are met with requesting departments;
Identify and validate suppliers' capacity to deliver, pricing and commercial terms for subsequent negotiation;
Negotiate pricing and payment terms with suppliers;
Work closely with Afya's Legal department on contract drafting and monitoring;
Monitor contracts, tracking balances, expirations and the need for amendments or terminations;
Execute procurement operations in the company's systems;
Maintain control records, extract data and support operational and decision-making reports;
Maintain relationships with suppliers, service providers and internal stakeholders;
Monitor internal customer satisfaction levels;
Meet portfolio targets and ensure compliance with the area's SLAs;
Interface regularly with administrative, legal, governance and compliance teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related fields;
Experience in procurement of services;
Knowledge of negotiation, issuing and tracking purchase orders;
Experience in drafting and commercial management of contracts;
Knowledge of administrative, legal, governance and compliance processes;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Knowledge of TOTVS RM is desirable;
Experience in a Shared Services Center (SSC) is desirable;
