About the role
- Manage the purchasing portfolio to ensure compliance with agreed deadlines with the requesting department;
- Identify and verify with suppliers of materials and equipment their capacity to deliver and pricing, contacting them and reconciling proposals for subsequent negotiation;
- Negotiate prices and payment terms with selected suppliers, and liaise between the supplier and Afya Legal for preparation of the respective contract when required;
- Monitor and track contracts, checking their balances and notifying responsible parties when approaching expiration (by balance or date) to decide on amendments or termination;
- Execute purchasing operations in the company system, as well as maintain controls or extract data to generate reports necessary for operations and decision-making;
- Maintain relationships with external agents (suppliers) and internal stakeholders, monitor the satisfaction level of internal customers, and implement PDCA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress;
- Basic knowledge of purchasing and negotiation practices;
- Familiarity with purchasing management tools and ERP systems;
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills;
- Experience in a Shared Services Center (SSC) is desirable;
- Knowledge of the TOTVS RM ERP system is desirable;
- Knowledge of ServiceNow (workflow system) is desirable.
