About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, enhance and maintain integrated project schedules for complex industrial and plant engineering projects across all project phases (from planning through execution)
Coordinate and integrate sub-schedules from all project stakeholders (engineering, procurement, construction, and external partners) into a consolidated master schedule
Perform schedule control including analysis of project progress, critical paths, and variances against the baseline schedule
Prepare schedule and progress reports and identify and communicate risks, opportunities and recommended actions to project management and the project team
Support project management with scheduling strategies, change management and assessing project impacts on milestones and the overall schedule
Apply and further develop lean methods and best practices in schedule management to optimize project workflows
Facilitate scheduling and control workshops and serve as the central interface for all scheduling-related topics within the project
Ensure the quality, consistency and traceability of all schedule-related data and documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in engineering (e.g. civil engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering)
Several years of professional experience in schedule management, ideally in industrial, plant engineering or energy projects
Solid experience in developing and controlling complex project schedules and in project management methods such as the Critical Path Method
Preferable: experience in EPC/EPCM projects and working with multidisciplinary project teams
Structured, responsible and analytical work style with a strong solution orientation and ability to maintain an overview in complex project situations
Excellent knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
Experience in schedule control, reporting and analysis of project metrics
Very good German and good English skills, confident use of MS Office and willingness to travel as required by project needs
