Product Manager

• Steward and improve iPad Store Ordering for performance, reliability, and shrink and sales impact.
• Own roadmap and prioritization, balancing customer commitments, tech debt, and new value with pragmatic trade-offs.
• Partner with Data and ML to monitor and evolve forecasting and ordering policies, adding guardrails to avoid regressions.
• Strengthen adherence and input quality across display controls, overrides, and detection of “gaming.”
• Lead cross-functional delivery and change management for multi-chain rollouts.
• Ensure reliability at scale: SLAs, incident response, telemetry, alerting, and on-call playbooks.
• Maintain customer relationships and translate feedback into priorities. Track accuracy, adoption, adherence, and impact; support GTM on renewals.

Product Manager, iPad Ordering

• Own our next generation inventory management and store ordering solution that will be responsible for ordering 25%+ of fresh food volume in grocery in the US, eliminating 100s of millions of pounds of food waste (with the potential to grow that to billions)
• Own your product vision and roadmap, including the ML models, end to end app experience, monitoring and reporting, and data validation.
• Communicate both the business and technical rationale behind your decisions. Evangelize your vision and excite others with where you want to take your product.
• Deeply understand the market and our customers in order to build products that deliver massive value to our customers and the broader fresh food ecosystem.
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Commercial to realize our product vision by taking products from conception to launch.
• Build strong relationships with partners and customers in order to inform roadmap and product prioritization.
• Develop user stories and product requirements, engage in usability and prototype testing, and define and monitor success metrics for maximal impact.

Product Manager, Store Ordering – Inventory Management

Account Manager

• Sole Owner of Revenue, Retention, and Expansion Targets: Directly own the financial health and growth of a strategic account portfolio. Your mandate is to secure 100% retention on an existing super-enterprise account while driving year-over-year expansion through the identification and development of new sales opportunities.
• C-Suite Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with a multi-threaded network of executive sponsors, up to the C-suite level (e.g., CEO, COO, CIO), to ensure sustained advocacy and clear alignment on multi-year strategic goals.
• Customer Quarterback: Serve as the single point of accountability for all external interactions, owning the comprehensive view of all customer-facing initiatives and internal priorities.
• Continuous Strategic Discovery: Lead consistent and frequent executive-level discovery sessions to maintain a deep, evolving understanding of the customer’s strategic business priorities, critical pain points, and target ideal state. You will act as an internal translator, articulating the value of Afresh's solution suite in the customer’s own language and financial terms to ensure solutions are perfectly mapped and advocacy is organic.
• Trusted Advisor: Serve as a thought leader in the retail/grocery technology space, advising clients on how to leverage Afresh's AI to achieve massive business transformation, specifically in driving profitability and efficiencies across their fresh supply chain.
• Executive Business Reviews: Design and lead sophisticated, data-driven Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that focus on achieved ROI, joint operational metrics, and forward-looking strategic planning, not just product updates.
• Executive Coordination: Act as the primary orchestrator between the customer's leadership and Afresh’s executive team, specifically coordinating our CEO, President, and Chief Revenue Officer to assist with complex stakeholder mapping and relationship building.
• Product Strategy Alignment: Partner closely with Afresh’s Product organization to ensure our development roadmap remains aligned with the critical, high-impact needs of our largest customers, influencing the future direction of our technology roadmap.
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate with our Operations team to monitor system performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure the customer realizes the maximum value and benefit from their Afresh investment. Help the team prioritize the efforts most aligned to the customer’s strategic needs.
• Mentorship & Coaching: Act as a mentor and thought partner to the broader Account Management team, providing coaching, sharing best practices, and developing playbooks for complex enterprise engagement.
• Commercial Leadership: Lead highly complex, multi-million dollar negotiations for multi-year renewals and expansion contracts, including developing and navigating unique commercial structures and legal terms.
• Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Run the full sales cycle for new opportunities within the existing account footprint (upsell/expansion/cross-sell), from identifying need to negotiation and closure. Leverage our Product, Marketing, and Sales Engineering organizations as needed to ensure a seamless sales cycle.
• Strategic Commercial Defense: Proactively analyze the account's total addressable spend and potential "build vs. buy" threats. Develop creative and non-standard commercial architectures to maximize long-term revenue while neutralizing incentives for in-house alternatives.
• Marketing: Develop internal and external communication plans to broadly disseminate the value of Afresh's partnership throughout the customer's organization.
• Partnership Evangelism: Systematically transform executive sponsors into active, high-impact evangelists. Ensure executive sponsors will act as industry referrals. Drive joint marketing initiatives, including co-authored case studies, executive video testimonials, and joint press releases, to leverage customer success as a powerful market validator.

• Lead the design, building, and deploy highly scalable and robust APIs, making critical architectural decisions that shape our platform.
• Partner with Product, Account Management, and peer engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions that serve client needs.
• Contribute to the vision of the next generation Ordering product, while also support our current iPad solution.
• Enforce best practices for testing and releases to maintain high standards of system reliability.

• Work directly with prospects and customers to credibly communicate product differentiation, value, and technical functionality
• Lead operational and technical discovery to understand our customers’ business and map their needs to the Afresh solution
• Collaborate closely with Sales Directors and Account Managers on deal strategy, risks, and opportunities
• Consistently collate, deliver, and discuss product feedback from the field to our Product and Engineering teams
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to support new messaging/positioning and launch new products and enablement resources
• Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and how to position Afresh in relation to them
• Be a technical expert on all aspects of Afresh
• Document learnings extensively to engage and educate others

Product Marketing

• Develop and deliver sales enablement resources (decks, battlecards, product one-pagers, competitive comparisons, training) to empower GTM teams to win deals
• Create external-facing content (case studies, blog posts, data sheets, infographics, videos, website copy) supporting campaigns and sales conversations across the funnel
• Experiment with and build AI tools to improve efficiency, creativity, and scalability of content development
• Conduct market and competitive research and distill insights to sharpen positioning
• Build and maintain internal content hubs to keep sales collateral and messaging up-to-date and accessible
• Run training programs and deliver enablement to customer-facing teams; analyze impact using data and insights to refine programs and drive adoption
• Work closely with Head of Marketing, product managers, and sales teams to bridge product and sales and articulate value to prospects and customers
