Marketing and Communications Coordinator

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the design and implementation of the omnichannel marketing and communications plan.
- Gather information on project needs, risks and opportunities from relevant stakeholders and help formalize them.
- Assist in developing promotional information campaigns for product and service offerings to address clients and prospects.
- Support the deployment of marketing, communications and public relations activities for clients, partners and social media communities.
- Execute assigned operational tasks within the project according to the established schedule and allocated budget.
- Contribute to planning and executing promotional activities, monitor them (workshops, trade shows, partner events, etc.) and evaluate their outcomes.
- Produce expected deliverables and update tracking tools (qualitative and quantitative reporting) in the CRM.
- Contribute to the assessment of activities and to lessons learned.
- Maintain local market and industry monitoring by tracking news about client sectors and ecosystem actors, and implement related actions after validation.
- Maintain relationships with existing media, notably the local press.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two-year post-secondary qualification (Bac+2) with a specialization in communication or marketing.
- Proven initial professional experience, ideally within a business services company.
- You are rigorous, organized and enjoy working in a team and with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent writing skills and strong interpersonal abilities are essential.
- Strong command of digital tools (CMS, email marketing platforms, analytics, social media).
- Knowledge of marketing tools and the ability to leverage data to optimize activities.
