About the role
- Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various types of modular office systems furniture
- Assists with preparation for special events like meetings and setting up tents
- Participates in monitoring performance of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems
- Performs maintenance of plumbing systems and installs replacement parts
- Performs minor carpentry maintenance tasks including routine sheetrock/drywall repair
- Conducts scheduled inspections of irrigation systems and maintains detail records
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Documents facilities maintenance requirements and maintains work records
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in facilities building maintenance and repair
- Knowledge and experience of methods, practices, and techniques used in maintaining building and ground operations
- Ability to read and understand building mechanical and electrical system blueprints and technical documents
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Completion of a recognized technical training program (preferred)
- Proof of Environmental Protection Act mandated Universal Certification for the handling of high- and low-pressure refrigerants (preferred)
