About the role
- Serves as a primary point of contact for Sr Account Managers, Account Executives, and clients responding to inquiries and relaying important information between clients and the account management team
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing materials for client presentations, and organizing follow-up tasks
- Maintains and updates client information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of account data
- Prepares regular performance reports and presentations on account status, client engagement, and service utilization for internal review; analyzes data, and responds to customer requests
- Acts as a liaison between internal partners, and customers/consultants; Helps troubleshoot client issues and escalate complex concerns to the appropriate team members
- Submits service tickets and product requests; works with billing, commission and banking teams for client specific needs
- Builds customer and consultant relationships; assists with collateral needs for customers; attends benefit fairs/enrollment meetings when requested by customers
- Works with drafting and compliance for customer specific needs
- Supports ongoing projects by managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring that client expectations are met
- Performs other duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field
- 1 or more years’ experience with disability, life, FML, state and company leave products, account management, customer service or administrative support
- Experience with servicing customers in a professional environment
- Travel Less than or equal to 10%
- Proficiency in CRM and account management tools (preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Ability to prioritize task and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer first mind-set
- Basic understanding of billing and invoicing processes
- Ability to work well in a team environment and handle confidential information
- Licenses dependent upon product being supported with specified time frame
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
