About the role
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to business and IT goals, deadlines, and budgets.
- Identify resource requirements, ensure resources are acquired and on-boarded efficiently, and coordinate team efforts.
- Build business cases in collaboration with stakeholders and define project objectives.
- Ensure policies, processes, and procedures are effectively followed and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.
- Lead the portfolio of prioritized IT projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Train team leaders and other project managers to ensure consistent project delivery.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Regularly report project status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4-year college/university degree in either information technology, computer science, software engineering, or business management.
- Experience in successfully building an IT program management office in a global manufacturing environment.
- 8-10 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of PM process development and execution.
- 5-8 years direct experience leading IT projects.
- Experience leading business transformation and organizational change management initiatives.
- Excellent skill in combining project management practices with software development.
- Exceptional skill in time management, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Proven leadership skills and excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation).
- Proven experience in developing compelling business cases and delivering expected ROIs.
- Proven experience in delivering status reports and presentations to multiple stakeholders at all level of the organization.
