Auditor

• Perform high-level, secondary case reviews to ensure accurate and comprehensive provider documentation.
• Perform CDI audits.
• Assess documentation alignment with ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRG/APR-DRG, and payer guidelines.
• Identify missed or inappropriate diagnoses, procedures, CCs/MCCs, and severity of illness (SOI) / risk of mortality (ROM) opportunities.
• Analyze audit findings and prepare detailed reports with trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

• Manage consultant schedules including approving timesheets, PTO requests, LOA, etc.
• Actively engage with Recruiters to identify and participate on the interview team to identify potential and hire candidates.
• Be a talent magnet and leverage professional network and demonstrate expertise through market facing activities including professional organizations, speaking, or serving as a UASI Ambassador.
• Collaborate with the Client Success Managers and QM Team to provide feedback about performance against expectations.

Inpatient Coding Specialist

• Utilize risk adjustment coding/HCC and HEDIS expertise to perform quality reviews on internal/subcontracted HCC coders/OP CDI.
• Use audit tool to analyze quality results and track overall quality.
• Provide necessary feedback and research to HCC Coder/ OP CDI in response to coding and documentation questions.
• Ability to assess queries for compliance and appropriate composition based on the AHIMA Query Practice Brief

• Serve as the Engagement Leader for managed service clients work by collaborating with service line leaders to ensure the resources for the project are allocated, providing timeline and ramp for services to the client, facilitate communication surrounding quality and productivity, and manage deliverables to the client.
• Ensure clarity and alignment with clients about UASI services/deliverables and manage client scope and expectations through regular communication meetings.
• Monitor and manage client profit margin by monitoring key metrics including productivity, staff utilization, and managing “miscellaneous” non-attributable time.
