About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan M&R activity across all regions whilst causing minimum disruption to our customers and network.
Coordinate both planned and reactive activity to deliver optimum efficiency in terms of time, cost and productivity of field-based teams.
Ensure statutory and regulatory obligations are considered and adhered to e.g., Street Works Legislation, C-MEX, and leakage.
Create schedules taking into consideration internal priorities KPI’s and ODI’s.
A customer-focussed approach to continuous improvement which leads to an enhanced customer experience.
Participate and promote a Safety, Health and Environmental culture in our teams.
Promote and develop the relationship with Community Operations suppliers/contractors.
Work to deadlines in terms of service level agreements whilst reviewing work to remove any potential obstacles.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A strong focus on customer experience.
Strong organisational & time management skills.
A good understanding of the cost of all community operational activity and an ability to avoid unwanted and unnecessary costs.
Knowledge of company ‘Job Management’ systems (FLS, Maximo & GIS) with the ability to make decisions to identify and provide solutions to customer disruption and other operational events.
Understanding of Noticing/Permit requirements when working in the public highway.
Understanding of reinstatement materials.
Understanding of Traffic Management legislation to be able to provide guidance to all Affinity Water and contractor teams working in the public highway.
