Community Operations Planner
Affinity WaterCommunity Operations Planner at Affinity Water planning M&R activity and ensuring minimal disruption. Requires strong organizational skills and focus on customer experience.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan M&R activity across all regions whilst causing minimum disruption to our customers and network.
- Coordinate both planned and reactive activity to deliver optimum efficiency in terms of time, cost and productivity of field-based teams.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory obligations are considered and adhered to e.g., Street Works Legislation, C-MEX, and leakage.
- Create schedules taking into consideration internal priorities KPI’s and ODI’s.
- A customer-focussed approach to continuous improvement which leads to an enhanced customer experience.
- Participate and promote a Safety, Health and Environmental culture in our teams.
- Promote and develop the relationship with Community Operations suppliers/contractors.
- Work to deadlines in terms of service level agreements whilst reviewing work to remove any potential obstacles.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A strong focus on customer experience.
- Strong organisational & time management skills.
- A good understanding of the cost of all community operational activity and an ability to avoid unwanted and unnecessary costs.
- Knowledge of company ‘Job Management’ systems (FLS, Maximo & GIS) with the ability to make decisions to identify and provide solutions to customer disruption and other operational events.
- Understanding of Noticing/Permit requirements when working in the public highway.
- Understanding of reinstatement materials.
- Understanding of Traffic Management legislation to be able to provide guidance to all Affinity Water and contractor teams working in the public highway.
