About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan M&R activity across all regions whilst causing minimum disruption to our customers and network.
  • Coordinate both planned and reactive activity to deliver optimum efficiency in terms of time, cost and productivity of field-based teams.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory obligations are considered and adhered to e.g., Street Works Legislation, C-MEX, and leakage.
  • Create schedules taking into consideration internal priorities KPI’s and ODI’s.
  • A customer-focussed approach to continuous improvement which leads to an enhanced customer experience.
  • Participate and promote a Safety, Health and Environmental culture in our teams.
  • Promote and develop the relationship with Community Operations suppliers/contractors.
  • Work to deadlines in terms of service level agreements whilst reviewing work to remove any potential obstacles.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A strong focus on customer experience.
  • Strong organisational & time management skills.
  • A good understanding of the cost of all community operational activity and an ability to avoid unwanted and unnecessary costs.
  • Knowledge of company ‘Job Management’ systems (FLS, Maximo & GIS) with the ability to make decisions to identify and provide solutions to customer disruption and other operational events.
  • Understanding of Noticing/Permit requirements when working in the public highway.
  • Understanding of reinstatement materials.
  • Understanding of Traffic Management legislation to be able to provide guidance to all Affinity Water and contractor teams working in the public highway.
