About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead member care alongside counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers
- Provide evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and mental health disorders
- Conduct initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations
- Deliver care for substance use and mental health conditions
- Prescribe medications as appropriate and answer member questions
- Complete documentation in the Healthie EHR
- Collaborate with the care team
- Attend occasional scheduled team meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active and verifiable PMHNP license in the state(s) where you practice, including an active, unrestricted license in Ohio
- At least 2 years of experience, ideally in addiction or mental health treatment; relevant previous experience may be considered for candidates with less than 2 years as a PMHNP
- Experience prescribing Suboxone
- Active DEA registration
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
- Quiet, private office with reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth visits
- Comfort using technology, including EHRs and mobile apps
- Medicaid enrollment is a plus
- Empathy for members facing behavioral health challenges
