About the role

  • Shadow trade compliance professionals to gain exposure to daily operations
  • Gain valuable OCR EASE software knowledge (OCR EASE is the premier export compliance software common across the industry)
  • Support the Trade Compliance team by gathering and compiling information from internal systems
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to group initiatives and ongoing projects
  • Assist with basic data entry tasks related to international shipments and export documentation
  • Perform administrative duties such as copying, scanning, and maintaining electronic records
  • Attend training sessions to learn about U.S. export laws (including ITAR and EAR)

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a College/University or recent graduate with a degree focused on International Business or something similar
  • Must be able to work full time onsite in Simi Valley, CA or Huntsville, AL
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with confidential information
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
