About the role
- Perform various environmental due diligence projects within our HUD Services division
- Conduct environmental reviews
- Carry out state and federal regulatory program file reviews
- Complete field investigations
Requirements
- Experience performing environmental due diligence projects, such as Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) preferred
- Extensive knowledge and experience in assessing various property types preferred
- Experience in evaluating all types of environmental regulatory cases, such as LUST, State Hazardous Wastes, CERCLIS, and NPL sites preferred
- Experience, knowledge or interest in the Related Federal Laws and Authorities as described under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969
- Ability to consult with local, state and federal agencies
- Experience with completing Part 50 and Part 58 Environmental Review Records for local, state and federal agencies a plus
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering or geology-related science preferred
- Current Radon license/certification preferred
- Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification, asbestos inspector, and/or lead-based paint certification preferred
