About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform increasingly complex Property Condition Assessments of existing commercial properties
- Monitor new construction or renovation projects
- Assist with energy and ADA audits
- Make forensic assessments of major building systems and distressed conditions
- Conduct basic interviews and research covering property maintenance history
- Write clear and concise condition and status reports
- Manage multiple projects and deliver outstanding client service
- Participate in conference calls with clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8 to 12+ years of previous experience performing forensic assessments of major building systems and conditions
- 2+ years of experience performing Property Condition Assessments required
- Knowledge and experience in assessing various property types
- Familiarity with construction best practices, general building codes, and various building types
- Previous experience performing PCAs or related projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management required
- Registered Architect (R.A.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong technical writing proficiency and photography skills
