About the role
- Understand and Analyze complex project specifications, plans and site maps to be sure project conforms to engineering requirements.
- Assist the Project Manager and General Superintendent in providing oversight and project support for production, safety, quality, and project management standards.
- Understand and Analyze government regulations and environmental risks during planning phases of each cured in place pipe project.
- Schedule in P6 the repair and rehabilitation of public and private infrastructure using specialized cured in place pipe processes.
- As needed, attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and project status meetings with our customers.
- Prepare, submit, and track Submittals and RFI’s.
- Assist the Project Manager in working with Estimators to prepare estimates for equipment, labor, and materials to be sure projects conform to company standards and contract requirements.
- Responsible for materials ordering and project scheduling.
- Assists the Project Manager in daily management of assigned projects to include quantities tracking and cost management.
- Assist in project planning so that safe work practices are followed on all construction sites.
- Use Primavera P6 software to assist with scheduling and tracking jobs.
- Handle material procurement for specialized cured in place projects.
Requirements
- 3+ years of construction management experience managing an annual $1MM portfolio of projects.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of the basic principles in Accounting/Finance preferred.
- Previous experience in water/sewer or municipal environment is preferred.
- Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction required.
- Must be able to travel as needed (approximately 25%)
