Responsible for the execution of annual sales plans to support revenue and profit objectives for the Pacific Northwest Region
Define and execute sales strategies and tactics to meet or exceed annual sales plans and quotas to identify, develop, and close new business with Municipal Water and Sewer, Oil, Gas, and Public Transportation clients in need of corrosion assessment, corrosion protection design, installation and testing services
Develop and execute bid strategy, provide input into the estimating process, and generate market intelligence for capture plans and proposal preparation
Ensure all sales activity and opportunities are up to date in Salesforce, our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the products and services offered
Conduct sales calls and make product/service presentations to customer
Be the face of Corrpro at trade conferences and networking events
Recommend proposal, contract prices, develop bid strategy, provide input into the estimating process, optimize pricing, and develop project teams consisting of internal and external collaborators to acquire and complete profitable projects and contracts
Generate and document market intelligence for assigned accounts including market size, buying practices, and decision makers
Provide input into development of marketing communications and product portfolio decisions
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction or other related science field preferred
5 + years’ experience selling technical products and services with municipal water and sewer, oil, gas, and/or public transportation
Knowledge of Corrosion Control / Cathodic Protection and AMPP CP certification preferred
Must be self-motivated, well-organized and a team player able to take initiative and function independently
Experience calling on and working with top level management
Must be able to travel at least 50% to potential customer sites
Strong verbal and written communicator with ability to persuade, motivate and empower clients and co-worker to action required
Expertise with Salesforce, or other CRM, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
