About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and process payments related to electric energy, ensuring proper management of associated data and documents (electricity invoices, energy purchase/sale invoices, debit notes for generation projects, among others);
  • Oversee the execution of contracts with third-party providers involved in the energy invoice lifecycle, auditing data and issuing payment requests;
  • Liaise with participants in the electric power supply chain, primarily utilities and internal stakeholders;
  • Update unit (UC) registrations in energy management systems and maintain invoice-related data;
  • Audit consumption and cost data for electricity across operations;
  • Assist with monthly processes for provisioning and reversing energy costs;
  • Interpret operational consumption data, demand, and contracts with utilities to improve financial efficiency;
  • Provide data and information on electricity-related matters requested by audits and other corporate departments;
  • Support the preparation of budgeting processes and monitor the company's energy cost performance;
  • Manage new Low Voltage and Medium Voltage connection processes with electric utilities;
  • Submit service requests or complaints to utilities, tracking protocols and resolutions;
  • Operate vehicles used for work activities in an efficient and safe manner;
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and correctly use personal and collective protective equipment;
  • Organize and maintain the department's filing system for document retention and easy retrieval;
  • Commit to the areas of Quality Management, Environment, and Occupational Safety;
  • Perform other tasks related to the above as required by the organization, under the direction of the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Higher education in progress or completed is desirable in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields;
  • Knowledge of electricity invoices and electrical quantities interpretation;
  • Experience handling data, especially electricity data;
  • Understanding of the Brazilian electric sector regulatory framework;
  • Experience with SAP MM and SAP Ariba is desirable;
  • Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI);
  • Knowledge of Python programming and Power Query is desirable;
