About the role
- As a Project Engineer – Building Services / Energy Systems | SaaS (m/f/d), your mission is to ensure our IoT solutions make buildings measurably more energy-efficient and sustainable.
- You will support customer projects from implementation through to operational optimization.
- Combine technical understanding with structured project management and play a key role in sustainably reducing CO₂ emissions in the building sector.
- Learn to manage complex customer projects independently, supported by experienced colleagues.
- Build solid expertise in building services, IoT systems and project management and develop into a sought-after expert at the interface of engineering, sustainability and customer relations.
- Analyze operational building data, identify energy-saving opportunities and derive clear, actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Completed degree in building services engineering, energy systems, mechanical engineering, supply engineering or a comparable technical qualification provides the foundation for this role.
- Basic understanding of technical building equipment gained through internships, working student roles or initial professional experience — willingness to learn is more important than years of experience.
- Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly and to communicate at different levels, from technical teams to executive management.
- Structured, solution-oriented approach with the ability to set priorities, work independently and proactively seek support when necessary.
- Confident use of digital tools and willingness to quickly learn new systems such as IoT platforms, project management tools (Jira, Confluence) or energy management systems.
- Fluent German and English (C1) spoken and written for effective communication with customers and the international team.
