About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct safety orientation to workers, owners and clients
Train employees on ONxpress Health, Safety and Environmental Manual
Conduct workplace inspections, behavior-based observations and audits
Develop worksite safety plans – such as emergency plans, environmental or site safety plans
Conduct studies and analyze EHS data trends
Liaise with Government agencies as required
Prepare and assist with external safety audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the construction industry in a Health and Safety role
Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST), National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) and/or Certificate of Recognition (COR) Auditor preferred
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driver's abstract
