About the role
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Partner with operations and project managers to provide project-level financial insights, including cost analysis, variance analysis, and profitability tracking
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning and business growth
- Conduct cash flow analysis and monitor working capital to optimize company liquidity
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
- Assist with preparation of management reporting, board presentations, and KPI dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and implement financial best practices
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA considered an asset)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, ideally within the construction, real estate, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Strong business acumen with an ability to connect financial insights to operational performance
