About the role

  • Structural/Civil design experience with heavy industrial Projects.
  • Good knowledge of relevant codes, design documents, specifications, and construction documents to support structural design and project development.
  • Good understanding of the various project phases; from pre-feasibility to construction.
  • Develop design models, plans, details as required for the project.
  • Fully understands the process of preparing engineering designs and drawings based on the contracted scope of work, project specifications while staying within established budgets and schedules.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards, and procedures.

Requirements

  • College or university degree in Civil/Structural Design or Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of North American experience in Structural/Civil Engineering and Design.
  • Experience with industry standard engineering software such as Civil3D, Advanced Steel, ACC, BluBeam.
  • The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and be capable of collaborating with the multi-discipline engineers and designers.
