Structural/Civil Designer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Structural/Civil design experience with heavy industrial Projects.
- Good knowledge of relevant codes, design documents, specifications, and construction documents to support structural design and project development.
- Good understanding of the various project phases; from pre-feasibility to construction.
- Develop design models, plans, details as required for the project.
- Fully understands the process of preparing engineering designs and drawings based on the contracted scope of work, project specifications while staying within established budgets and schedules.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards, and procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- College or university degree in Civil/Structural Design or Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of North American experience in Structural/Civil Engineering and Design.
- Experience with industry standard engineering software such as Civil3D, Advanced Steel, ACC, BluBeam.
- The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and be capable of collaborating with the multi-discipline engineers and designers.
