About the role

  • Reporting to the Team Lead, Human Resources, the Human Resources Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to the Human Resources and operations team.
  • Responsible for submitting salary and compensation related changes payroll according to the payroll schedule.
  • Responsible for running semi-monthly salary reports and assisting employees with time entry/timesheet submission, liaising with the project controls and finance project teams as required.
  • In charge of investigating and answering employee questions associated with their pay acting as a liaison between the employee and payroll department.
  • Submit, maintain and verify all employee records in the HRIS database (SAP).
  • Process all employee life cycle data transactions with accuracy and attention to detail including but not limited to new hires, terminations, personal changes, performance reviews, benefits, and vacation tracking.

Requirements

  • Post secondary school education, preference given to those with an HR focus
  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a Human Resources or Payroll department is an asset
  • Strong Proficiency of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical, mathematical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pace and evolving environment
  • SAP/ SuccessFactor experience is an asset.
