About the role

  • Responsible for account management activities as well as the pursuit and management of new prime contracts and FFP/CPFF task orders with oversight on cost/budget, schedule, and quality
  • Lead business development and marketing activities
  • Implementation of record keeping, administrative, and quality control programs
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all coordination with the USACE Huntsville Center and, potentially, Red Stone Arsenal
  • Assist with AECOM’s Munitions Response Business Development for opportunities released by USACE Huntsville Center
  • Serve as munitions response Capture Manager; lead proposal efforts including technical approach, pricing, and managing support staff
  • Serve as a Deputy Program and Client Manager for the USACE Huntsville Center
  • Provide guidance preparing munitions response proposals, executing projects, and delivering the program
  • Support delivery of existing munitions response investigations, removal actions, and decontamination and disposal efforts

Requirements

  • BS/BA in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology and or an earth science-related field
  • 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a US Security Clearance
  • 15+ years’ experience as a Project Manager of federal projects (preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience managing Munitions Response and CWM task order work for USACE Huntsville Center (preferred)
  • High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment (preferred)
  • Experience with USACE Huntsville Center and Redstone Arsenal, AL (preferred)
  • Proximity (two-hour drive) to USACE Huntsville Center and/or Redstone Arsenal (preferred)
  • Able and willing to travel (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget (preferred)
  • Knowledge of project financial accounting, reporting, and controls (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including both oral and written (preferred)
  • Advanced report writing skills (preferred)
  • Organizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work (preferred)
  • Self-motivated, driven, and hard working (preferred)
  • Experienced on MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classification (preferred)
  • Demonstrated proposal-writing skills, Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to market and win work successfully and effectively (preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of DoD and USACE MMR focusing on CWM requirements and processes (preferred)
